USA: Saakashvili is to Vanish

The Moor has done his duty, let him go down the drain. The US is again manipulating the citizens of Georgia. The time for substitution in "Washington" playing team is coming.

The name of a future Georgian president is easily predictable though presidential elections haven't been held yet. It's Nino Burjanadze, former Saakashvili's ally and then his "sudden" opponent. All that is called a political circus. Politics has dramaturgy of its own. How can one keep the country under control if it's lost the war and isn't flourishing? To keep it he just needs to change his puppets, to blow off steam and substitute his "bad" puppet for his "good" one. The main thing is not to let Russia into the Georgian "playing field".

Apparently she was inspired by the New York Times Op-Ed 'Russian Advice on Afghanistan' of Jan 11, 2010 by Boris Gromov, former Soviet chief commander in Afghanistan and Dmitry Rogozin, currently Russia's ambassador to NATO.

Stalin and Stooge

He occasion was solemn. Stalin's birthday anniversary. They came in numbers to pay him tribute laying flowers at his tomb. A delegation of the Communist Party, of course, hardly a surprise. But mostly they were plain Russian folks, neither communist sympathizers, nor socialist day-dreamers. The were sons and grandsons whose fathers died in the War. Why were they doing this?

Rescue of Dollar is War

Here is a common enough situation – late night, a lonely passerby and a band of hooligans. Their question is common too – "Got a smoke?". There is no need to say you don't smoke – this is the kind of remark they are waiting for, because they need a fight, not a cigarette. They are itching to get into it and a scuffle can solve their problem. The situation in the international politics is not much different. Whom do the States want to beat?
